Recipe: Blueberry Crisp
With spring in full swing, it's going to be berry season sooner than we realize! One of my all-time favorites, blueberries, are so versatile. Here's a favorite recipe of mine - my mother-in-law's blueberry crisp.
1/2 cup quick oats
1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 Tablespoons cold butter
1/3 cup sugar
4 cups fresh blueberries, rinsed
12 teaspoon sea salt
1. Preheat oven to 375°F
2. Combine blueberries and sugar in a large bowl. Set aside.
3. Combine oats, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl. 4. Pour berries into a pre-greased baking dish. Sprinkle oat mixture over top.
5. Bake for 40-60 minutes until gooey.
