Ayurveda Snack: Cooked Apples
Cooked Cinnamon Apples
2 Apples (Fuji are great because of their juicy interior)
2+ Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tbs Ghee
Peel and core apples.
Slice into quarters.
Slice quarters into thirds.
In a pan, add 1 tablespoon of ghee.
Add cinnamon, adding more as needed.
Stir, cover and cook on med-low heat for 2 minutes.
Stir again and cover for about another 2 minutes or until apples are soft.
This serving would be appropriate for 2 snack sized servings.
