Trail mix is a favorite snack of mine. However, usually I pick through the store-bought mixes, weeding out what I don't want. When I decided it was time to make my own, it was incredibly simple. Here's a quick recipe with
sweet & salty flavors many crave. I have a tendency to seek out organic foods when eating. Organic versions of these ingredients are readily available in many places.
1 cup Almonds
1 cup Cashews
1 cup Sweetened Cranberries
1 cup Raisins
1/2 cup Pumpkin Seeds
1/2 cup Roasted/Salted Sunflower Seeds
Himalayan Finely Ground Sea Salt
Mix ingredients in bowl. Salt to taste. Store in a glass container and take out to-go servings as desired.
